Welcome to the website for the Interdisciplinary Graduate Conference at Georgia State University (IGC@GSU) 2017.
We are thrilled to announce that our inaugural theme for this year’s conference will be “Matters of Sensation.” This year’s conference will be held at Georgia State University in the Creative Media Industries Institute on November 2-4, 2017.
We are excited to announce that we will have two keynote speakers for this year.
Dr. Amber Jamilla Musser (Washington University in St. Louis), author of Sensational Flesh: Race, Power, and Masochism (NYU Press, 2014), will be delivering a keynote address.
Angela Washko (Carnegie Mellon University), multimedia artist and creator of BANGED: A Monopoly on Truth (2015) and The Game: The Game (2016), will be delivering a creative keynote.
