Although this image is my bio pic- here I want the opportunity to explain my thinking when creating it. I watched Professor Lisa’s in class tutorial. She began by painting a piece of white paper and this became the backdrop for her collage. I did the same and chose the color purple. I used my Xacto knife to cut more precisely. I selected images/pages that spoke to things that I like. We were required to use a food wrapper to include in our image. I chose the label of one of my favorite BBQ sauces to add as my shoulder and I threw in something unlikely by adding the white open hand, well, using collage their is quite a bit of unexpectancy.
