The APEX Museum is located on Auburn Avenue. When initially searching for it, I almost passed by it. Located in an unsuspecting building, the APEX Museum provided an interesting insight into the development of African-American culture in the city and in America. Composed of red brick, the building doesn’t appear to be anything special. The alley to the door is bordered on one side by a wrought iron fence, and the doors loomed over me. Upon entering the museum, the movement of slaves to the states, and their treatment and rights are clearly displayed.
