Nestor Kaputo is a Computer Engineering Major with goals of containing to a Ph.D. program in cyber security. He is interested in internship opportunities to learn everything he can about cyber security including virus behavior and prevention. My name is Isaac King, and I am working towards a bachelors degree in computer science. After finishing my degree, I plan to gain work experience with a leading tech company such as IBM or Google and develop an infinitely differentiable learning platform for students afterwards. My goal is to use AI to create an adaptive, personalized learning platform that grows with its users. The National Society of Black Engineers will give me an opportunity to network with professionals in the tech industry who can give me guidance along my career pathway. Isabelle Kaputo, a Business Administration major, also has interests in fashion, entrepreneurship, and industrial engineering. Cristina Butler is another one of the Computer Science majors in our group. She is planning on learning python after college so that she can get into UI design and work with #IoTs. Cristina is one of six of our group who will participating in the #2019NSBEnationalHackathon at Google’s Detroit office! David Fennell is a Computer Science major who also has an interest in entrepreneurship, fashion, and project management. Like a lot of us, he is looking forward to meeting representatives from established companies that will be at #nsbe45
Elmiche Kinmakon is another of our Computer Science majors. Her passion is to use her skills in tech to contribute to a project that can bring about social change. She’s looking forward to enhancing her professional self through the many workshops offered at #nsbe45. She’s excited to meet many of the people who will be attending this week! Douglas Smith is an Engineering Major with plans to get into aerospace engineering. Douglas is looking forward to the many networking opportunities we will have at #nsbe45.
