Principle Duties

RAs will gain hands-on experience working with research participants and may be involved in screening eligible participants, conducting experimental studies (including alcohol administration studies), coding qualitative data, data entry, literature reviews, data analysis, and assisting with presentation proposals and manuscript preparation. There may be opportunities to present research at conferences, if interested. RAs will meet regularly with Dr. Gilmore and attend weekly laboratory meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least a 3.0 GPA
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with underrepresented populations
  • Comfort discussing sensitive topics
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to commit to 10 hours a week for at least two semesters
