The GEA is thrilled to announce that we will once again be participating in GSU’s National Day on Writing celebration on October 18 from 10 AM-2 PM in the Library Plaza. We will have a booth that facilitates our annual book sale amongst the festivities; so, feel free to drop by and buy a book or just chat. We also encourage you to follow and contribute to the celebration on social media by tagging posts with #WhyIWrite.
The National Day on Writing was founded by the National Council of Teachers of English on the premise that writing is critical to literacy but needs greater attention and celebration. This event is hosted by the English Department, and many of the gradaute and undergraduate groups within our department are putting together great booths that you can visit and participate in various celebratory activities.
