Welcome to the website for Georgia State University’s Graduate English Association! The GEA is an organization made up of and run entirely by English graduate students.

Our purpose is to create a community for graduate students, support students throughout their time in the program, and act as a liaison between students, faculty, and GSU administration. The GEA organizes and sponsors several events throughout the year to increase student morale and department camaraderie. The GEA also provides funding for graduate students presenting research at professional conferences and supports GSU’s own conference, New Voices. All students enrolled in the graduate program are automatically members of the GEA and are invited to participate in all activities.
