my space
Back in my hometown, there is this coffee shop that I used to go to daily. It is on the same street as the ballet studio I went to almost everyday. The coffee shop, Iron Bank Coffee, is located inside of what used to be a bank. The inside has tall ceilings, big windows that let all the light in, and old hardwood floors. A ton of mixed matched chandeliers hung down from the ceiling creating such a magical feel. The best music is played there too. Not exactly pop music but music I really enjoy. Sometimes, local artists will come in a perform on Friday or Saturday nights. I’ve never been in Iron Bank when there was no one there. Many students come in and you can see them studying. Business men and women stop in to grab coffee and pastries in the middle of their work day. Some people just come to hangout. There are private rooms in Iron Bank with comfortable chairs and sofas so people can just relax if they need to. The space at Iron Bank is so welcoming and relaxing, its no surprise at all why so many people love Iron Bank.
The writer talks about “Iron bank” as a place of comfort and pure enjoyment of the surroundings. The focus is mainly on the serenity they feel as they talk about the coffee, pastries, and the comfortable chairs that relax them. The importance of privacy, and a “welcoming” feel of the environment seems to be very important to the writer. Iron Bank in my opinion seems like a very nice place to visit if you need to get some alone time, and work. I enjoyed the post since they vividly expressed how the surroundings made them feel.
I can tell that this place means a lot to you. The vivid detail positively describes the place such as the welcoming feeling and right down the road from her ballet studio. The focus is based off of the atmosphere and vibes of the full lit room from open windows and the different colored and types of chandeliers. Also I like how the different, unique music is played and even though it isn’t the typical listen it’s still catchy to hear. What shows to be important is the location and the “homey” and comfortable feel to the place. The comfortable chairs, the studying, great lighting, and the chance to privacy. The iron bank coffee sounds like a lovely and inviting place to be and I would love to visit it one day.
