Beach occupants
Seagulls are chirping and the warm moist air bounces off your skin. You look around and notice a little boy and a older man waving at a woman as she lays down on a towel with her purse and the bucket toys pinning it down from the wind. I hear chatter from a brother and sister running across the shore tossing sand at each other. I notice a woman in a blue bikini is layed face down and has untied her bathing suit top revealing her entire back to the blazing summer sun. I see a man pacing near the beach with a cart with fresh fruit cream popsicles; you can see peoples mouth watering as he passed by each family.
I like your post mainly for it’s descriptive detail. When i read this i can imagine the suns heat, the people and even the seagulls. More so than anything the beach is just a great place to be. Reading about the occupants in your space makes me reminiscence and draw similarities between me and them.
The post is laced with details, and I like how those details are about the space, and the occupants, not the space, or the occupants. As a once-frequent beach goer, the sights sound so familiar it’s as if I went there again. Thank you for that, it truly reminded me of home.
