The Occupants
Reaching the top of the mountain not only allows us to appreciate the beautiful scenery but also gives us a sense of accomplishment. The feeling of being at the peak, the accomplishment of successfully hiking to our desired destination. As I was struggling to climb up the mountain, gasping for air, I had thoughts about giving up but when I looked around, I pushed myself to reach the top. I saw dedicated people; people who were so focused on improving their health that they kept on repeating the task of climbing up and down the mountain. I looked in awe and wondered to myself, ‘Where do they get so much stamina?’ For me, climbing up the mountain once was enough as I’m not really a fit person, which was obvious to people, considering I had a soda in my hand and had a really hard time catching my breath. There were also people who skipped the task of hiking and took Skyride to just enjoy the nature and its fresh air. Stone Mountain provides people with a friendly, welcoming environment which lets them enjoy their time however they want to.
The occupants in your post weren’t really evaluated the way in which she asked for. You gave us a vague and general description of who these people could be and I think you could work on that a little bit. I identify with your post because I love going to stone mountain and just like you I’m not fit either. I hike up the mountain for the end result of seeing the beautiful view above. I love nature and stone mountain is a home beauty in our backyards.
