E is an IT Viking who currently sails with a broad array of tribes to help them develop, validate, and deploy data reporting solutions.
E the Viking believes himself to be uniquely suited to this role after spending 25 years sailing the seas around other IT leaders and Developer minds to collect treasured insights and skills necessary to sail the deep oceans of data available in the world today.
E the Viking has had many victories on the high seas over the years including:
- Traveling the country to deploy hardware, install/configure point of sale software, and train the users on how to use them;
- Developed back end reporting software for point of sale systems used by many companies including Kroger, Circle K, BP, and other large enterprises;
- Worked to develop some of the first stored value cards (Kroger Plus Card) that are now prevalent in almost all retail industries;
- Worked as a project manager coordinating broad cross functional teams to build out web sites, web services, and create great user experiences for customers like Emory University, Suntrust, and Home Depot;
- Transitioned into Health Care as an EMR analyst eventually moving up through the ranks to become a data architect responsible for not only maintaining a variety of data systems, but also developing and training new talent on how to analyze data and report on it successfully.
Over the years’ E the Viking has had the opportunity to learn many things and has attained the following accolades on his adventures:
- Bachelor’s of Computer Science from Kennesaw State University;
- Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in International Business and Information Systems from Georgia State University;
- Masters of Health Administration from Georgia State University;
- A broad array of certifications (25) pertaining to the implementation, maintenance, and reporting for Epic’s EMR;
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) SQL Server 2014/2016
