This set of papers from well-established economists analyze the important and fine details of what really happened during the Covid-19 Era. The cause of unemployment is an important detail they like to focus on, and well through many charts. They also examine into the automotive inflation, and the reason why good and services have been on the rise. They also offer a solution for what to do better, and what we can do to get our economy back on track instead of steadily up.
I plan on using the numerous data and percentages in connecting the inflation due to the pandemic to increase of poverty at the same time.

This source shows the change of trade of the United States during the Covid-19 era. The chart that they provide show the major decrease of trade between the United States. It also provides multiple models to show how much trade has been affected and disrupted.
I plan on using this to show what happen to trade due to the outbreak.
Ellison, Brenna, et al. “U.S. Household Food Acquisition Behaviors during the COVID-19 Pandemic.” PLOS ONE, Public Library of Science, 14 July 2022, journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0271522 Accessed 15 Nov. 2023.
She primarily focused on how everyone shifted from restaurants to quickly at home. Ellison shows the effects of the shift of a large amount of people and cause scarcity of supplies. She provides many models and data to back up her research with how much shift had happened due to the shutdown of the economy.
I plan on using to this to show the effect of covid on the shift of people from take out to grocery shopping, and how it played into scarce supplies.

This source includes data and perspectives from the effects of the pandemic and recent inflation towards Low-Income Veterans. It provides a unique and specific point of view from one of our most valued population, and how the pandemic and inflation is keeping them low income. It gives graphical data and answers from our veterans to see how the pandemic has affected them, and how some have had to pick up hours at their jobs to keep up.
I plan on using this to portray a more specific and valued crowd to how the pandemic and inflation has affected them.
