The Atlanta Film Society (ATLFS) is a year-round, non-profit media arts organization that specializes in film screenings, educational support, and film and media events, including an annual screenplay competition and the Academy Award® qualifying Atlanta Film Festival, held each spring. Our internships give interns a well-rounded experience and knowledge of producing a film festival, as well as experience working for a non-profit, member-based, media arts organization.
Interns assist with administrative duties, membership, and event planning and coordination. Please note that while an internship with ATLFS is a great way to get connected to the local film community, we are not a film studio and cannot provide internships in film production.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL INTERNS:
-
Must be at least 18 years old (internships for High School Seniors available on a case-by-case basis)
-
Must be available to work a select number of after-hours events (some events are off-site).
-
Interns should be energetic, outgoing, and enjoy working with the public. Interns should have excellent written and oral communication skills, phone manners, and organizational abilities.
*Internships are unpaid, but college credit and a free ATLFS membership are granted.
