Here are six “completed” images from the first project, layers of self. The drawing at the top left hand side is the first piece of the series, to get started as a foundation. The image in red and black ink is me as an Asian man; the image below it and the one with blacked out shades are also me as males. The one with red hair has an ink wolverine behind it, and that is not to say that wolves as my spirit animals-just something that felt right to include at the time being. The one with the blacked out shades is a casual goth version. The image with the stripped shirt is a Parisian version of myself, and the green one was created from experimenting with colors.
