Sequential Narritive
Materials: Ink, a crowquill pen, watercolor pencils, various types of paper, and Prisma color pencils
When I first attempted this, I failed. My failure didn’t come by procrastination but the failure to understand of two-point perspective and atmospheric perspective, not to mention my Crow quill pen skills are terrible. But that was a year ago, when drawing a building corner was considered a monumental challenge to my small mind. There is considerable need for improvement for the first perspective drawing (far left) one of these improvements must be attaining an actual ink bottle to replace the Jack Danials bottle I’m currently using. Tipping the ink towards you is not a good idea, especially if you’re sitting down. The watercolor was a more calming medium mostly due to the fact they were more familiar to me than a pen with the power to prick fingers. The building in the middle was made by first drawing the building with the pencils then we move the medium around the create illusions of shadows and blend colors together! I know that Ink works the same way, but I hate using ink so watercolor reigns supreme. As for the cityscape done in white and terracotta color pencils, the amount of detail I put in there was a little too much. It took me a day coupled with a cold afternoon to finish it!
