Unpacking Manuel’s Tavern is an experimental, collaborative digital archiving project that has been featured in GSU’s magazine and the New York Times. Georgia State Student Innovation Fellows have played a major role in 3D and VR construction, gigapan image stitching and the database development of this massive archiving experiment. Over the next couple of years, students at GSU, Emory, and other Atlanta schools will be creating smaller projects to curate all the artifacts on the walls of the Tavern.
