For Brennan Collins’s English 4200: Comics and Graphic Novels course, students were asked to create highly focused topic for presentation to the class that targeted audience, and a synthesis of ideas. In the video below, watch as Andrew, a student in Brennan’s 2014 course, shows the overlap between comics and film. He explains why comics have broken free from being ‘just for kids’ and taken much more seriously. Self-edited, and directed, Andrew’s project is both funny in parts, and informative.
