For this project I wanted my central message to be focused on poverty and the social difference between rich and poor.
The use of the reddish tone within my piece correlates to the heart of those who hurt and are struggling.
- The pendant with the heart symbolizes how people who are hurting and suffering in poverty are struggling. The hexagon represent the wealthy and how they do not see the suffering and wear their privilege as amor.
- The wearable garment is a shawl like representation of the wealthy wearing elegant garments but the less fortunate not being granted said wealth.
- The mask is symbolize how the poor and rich see themselves. The diamond accent represent how the wealthy are accustomed to particular lifestyle. In contrast to how the less fortunate see themselves one day having what the wealthy are already granted.
