For this project I wanted to focus on the contrast between emptiness and completion. Opposing forces of being without and being whole. I hollowed out sections of the soap then used colorful clay to weave throughout the holes of the soap. I chose “yellow” as a color of clay to bring a sense of optimism and hope. This piece is about feeling incomplete, but when you surround yourself with positivity you soon thrive.
