One of my favorite classes was English 3140, Editing for Publication. The main reason I entered the English program is because I wanted to better my speech and ability to communicate. In multiple assignments, Professor Godsave helped me strengthen my ability correct grammatical errors to help my audience receive a fluid piece of literature that fulfilled it’s purpose. When given this assignment, I learned how to use “track changes” when editing documents in order to keep track of the grammar I corrected throughout the article. This capability allowed me learn from my mistakes and understand how to make my writing more comprehensible with each line.
