Freya Quartet performs “Lost; but Free”

While participating in the Charlotte New Music Festival in June 2014, David Clark worked with the Freya Quartet, who performed his piece “lost; but free” in a concert of music and dance June 28, 2014 at the Arts Factory in Charlotte, NC. The piece, which features tonal and atonal sections, was brilliantly interpreted by the Pittsburgh-based ensemble. Earlier in the week, Clark improvised on electric guitar during a demonstration of interpretive dance as part of the festival.

“What a great 2 weeks I spent in Charlotte; I made friends for life and got two great performances of my music.”
