1. What do you like most about your work?
~ I like being able to create different, unique cuisines. That I could be proud of and feel accomplished at the end of the day.
2. What do you like least about your work?
~I really don’t like some of the long hours I have to work. Preventing me from being home as much as I would like to be.
3. How did you begin your career?
~ I first realized I had a passion for the culinary arts when a few of my friends and family members encouraged me to attend culinary school. So I could pursue a future culinary career. After just simply tasting my food and declaring it amazing. I have always loved creating new dishes for others and myself to enjoy, so I said why not.
4. What are some common career paths in the field?
~ There are many paths to pursue a career in this field. But networking and being able to connect with well renowned individuals in the field is important. Which is something I hope to accomplish to eventually open my very own food truck and catering service.
5. What are your main responsibilities as a lead cook?
~ My main responsibilities as a leading cook is to make sure every dish I serve is presentable and tasty. Also, to make sure I manage the amount of time spent on each dish. While still properly preparing each dish so it follows the health and sanitation regulations.
6. What kind of problems do you deal with?
~ Most of the problems/issues I acquire come mainly from rude customers. But as a professional I am able to deal with each customer according and respectively. So that my place of business continues to see a steady flow of income in its near future.
