Facility Access and User Policy
The primary function of CURVE (Collaborative University Research and Visualization Environment) is to support the research, digital scholarship, and original creative activities of Georgia State University enrolled students, faculty, and staff through specialized hardware, software, and services. All students, faculty, and staff wishing to access and utilize the CURVE facility must be involved in research or scholarly projects requiring the use of specialized CURVE hardware, software, and/or services. Members of the campus community may be asked to relocate to another area of the library or to another campus facility if their activities do not require the use of specialized CURVE hardware, software, and/or services. Group and team-based projects take precedence over individual research, although both are welcomed.
A secondary function of CURVE is to serve as an instructional facility. When accommodations can be met, and with pre-arranged permission, sections of the CURVE facility may be reserved for workshops, invited speakers, one-time class lectures, and other related educational and training purposes.
