This assignment required creating a sculpture using multiple of the same kind of object. I collected multiple lichen-covered pine bark flakes to create my sculpture.

The lichen-covered pine bark flakes were hot-glued onto flower petal-shaped cut-outs made from a recycled yard sign (corrugated plastic) painted black. Each leaf was wired to a large black floral-shaped piece of corrugated plastic. The “flower” center was created using an inverted plastic bowl and macrame cord.
