- Interviewee Response Summary
- February 26th at 5pm on Zoom
- Summarized bullet points of the interviewee responses:
- The interviewee is seeking therapy routes to better themselves.
- They were taught that it was okay to feel sad and to not let it consume you. They knew mental health was a problem just not how to address it.
- They commonly find their information through the doctor’s office (in-person, call, website).
- The interviewee said they don’t necessarily enjoy going to health appointments but that they are afraid of them.
- They don’t like how health care providers aren’t always friendly and that you cannot always speak openly without fear of getting legal involved (suicide, etc.).
- They just want someone to listen and understand, they want to be heard.
- Their primary issues is that the doctors don’t think that patients know what is wrong, know what they are talking about, or know what the doctor is talking about.
