When you see this piece you should feel as though you are flying so high you’re in heaven, above the planes or as if you are sitting down watching a spectacular plane show.
My inspiration for this piece was the feeling of flying, The Bridge Kickback, my dream of flying, and God. I just put symbols from all of the above together and it all flowed from there.
Process: The process of this piece was I took a sheet of paper and folded it all the way up into the smallest square I could. The thought of a design and a logo from The Bridge Kickback came to me so I drew it then I thought about what the Bridge stood for and drew that, then it looked like a plane so I added a trail of smoke below and cut it out with an x-Acto knife and arranged all the pieces from there with string and glue.
