Hello,

My name is Crystal Lee. I am originally from Chicago, IL then moved to Atlanta, GA to attend school. I received a full scholarship to play collegiate volleyball at Georgia State University for four years. Traveling over 500 miles away from home was very difficult but with loving support from the coaching staff and my teammates made the transition effortless.

This is my first year as a graduate student pursuing a Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Health Management and Policy. I am most passionate about behavioral health integration into primary healthcare and providing equality among all populations. Broadly, my career aspirations are to become a leader in the field of Public Health, specifically, to become a healthcare administrator of a mental health facility. The Public Health program at Georgia State University was the best option for me as it provides relevant curriculum and professional opportunities that I need to accomplish my goals in this field.

This is also my first year as a Graduate Assistant with the Student Health Promotion Program. I am very excited to be able to interact with the student body while promoting healthier lifestyle choices. Fun facts about me are: Getting my nails done, going to the gym, and journaling are all apart of my self-care regimen so I can balance, school, social, and work.
