Erasmus Reflection
While using Erasmus’ strategies, I learned new ways to improve my own writing. These strategies taught me to reinvent my sentences in ways I never thought of. It was amazing for me to see how substituting synonyms, rearranging words, and changing the syntax could give my horrible sentence so much life. I also learned from Erasmus’ strategies that there is no perfect sentence, but there is so much flexibility where you have the ability to make the sentences say exactly what you want them to say. My favorite sentence is the one I substituted synonyms because the sentence wasn’t a great sentence, but the synonyms made it sound professional. The worst sentence was the one I switched the part of speech because that sentence did not make any sense.
