Executive in Residence / Georgia State University / Robinson School of Business

Georgia State University (2019 – Present) Professor Sagoo serves as an Executive in Residence at Georgia State University’s Robinson School of Business, teaching graduate courses in Cybersecurity, Digital Innovation as part of the Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (1989 – 2021) Professor Sagoo served as the Chief Technology Officer at the CDC, the nation’s leading public health agency. He spearheaded the development of IT standards, best practices, and strategic guidance, significantly influencing CDC’s business and scientific missions. From 2004 until his departure, he oversaw CDC’s IT strategy, including Technology Research & Development and Infrastructure Architecture initiatives.
