“As material culture, space is not innate and inert, measured geometrically, but an integral and changing part of daily life, intimately bound up in social and personal rituals and activities.(pg.102)”
My understanding of this quote is that space does not happen naturally instead it is created by our surroundings and it’s part of our daily life so much to the point it shapes our activities and rituals.
