Indoor Field

As I was roaming around the museum one of the things that stood out the most was the varieties of colors surrounding the museum. There was all types of color such as blue, green, yellow, warm colors, dark colors, and bright colors. Notice the orange fading to black yard markers with white letterings, also they are standing 10 yards apart because thats how much it takes to get a first down. In the back is a green field that is covered in white Xs and Os because usually the turf of a football field is green and white. The colors were able to set a mood of excitement because there were all types of combinations and people were able to identify their favorite college football team by the color pattern. For example, the University of Maryland color pattern is used because of the Maryland state flag. The red, black, white, and yellow represents the shield in the coat of arms of George Calvert, first Lord Baltimore and original colonial proprietor of Maryland. All these colors are featured on all of the Maryland’s uniform for game day. The indoor green, white, and yellow field brings back memory of when I was in high school playing on Friday nights and making tackles everywhere on the field.
