I Guess… “Haters Gonna Hate” *shrugs*

When looking at pictures  we tend to interpret them in different ways depending on what is depicted. Visual context plays a tremendous role in this and often has the ability to change the way we view things emotionally and mentally.

Meme #1: The first meme is Kermit The Frog meme, a very popular background that circulated the internet for quite a while. This meme implies that no matter what negative thoughts another person may think, this person will remain unbothered and will continue minding their own business. Basically, ignoring the other person regardless of what opinions he may have and continuing his day as if the other person doesn’t even exist.

Meme #2: In this meme, our 46th POTUS, gives off a shrug. Viewers may sense a nonchalant vibe emitting from this picture. As a big influential figure in our political world, of course there are always two sides. The ones who favor our former president and the ones who do not. This meme seems like it is more than likely geared towards  those who don’t favor him, and gives them a message that he doesn’t care to control those who don’t care for him and he will continue to do his job, with or without them.

Meme #3: Last but not least is this gif/meme of a well known music artist, Kid Cudi, dancing next to the phrase ‘Haters gone hate” This gives it a more joyful and happy vibe to this phrase. He seems to be smiling and enjoying himself and not worried about who may be watching or what they may think about him.

Song About Death

Song: XXXTentacion- In The End

XXXTentacion’s song “In the End” like many of this artists’ songs, discuss and attempt to help those who can relate to certain subjects of sadness and death. Like some people today, this artist faces depression from a series of tragic events and hardships he has faced growing up as a teenager. When the song starts, a melodic tune played from a piano gives a hint to listeners that the song is associated with a story. As the song progresses, he begins to speak and explain that when his time comes or when he decides to commit suicide, he will not be afraid. He will not hesitate to end his life without regret. He states ” no one here knows, my intent” meaning that even though he is surrounded by others who notice him and possibly interact with him, no one truly knows what goes on in his mind and his plans to end his life. Overall, I believe that this song is one that should not be taken lightly and should make others aware that suicide is real and a growing problem in our society and hopefully even encourage them to take appropriate measures to help prevent it..
