Jensi Gise, MA

Jensi Gise is a 3rd year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at Georgia State University. Jensi received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology.  Prior to beginning her graduate studies, Jensi worked in the healthcare industry as a consultant to hospital systems throughout the United States. She briefly conducted research with Dr. Rosa Arriaga at Georgia Institute of Technology on technological interventions for youth with asthma and became certified to teach yoga in 2016.

 

Under the direction of Dr. Lindsey Cohen, Jensi currently studies posttraumatic growth in youth with cancer. She is interested in resilience and protective factors for youth who experience adversity, including pediatric populations with chronic and serious illness. She is also interested in research at the intersection of psychological trauma and physical health.
