Abby Robbertz, BS

Abby Robbertz is a first year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at Georgia State University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience and with research distinction at The Ohio State University. As an undergraduate she worked in numerous psychology labs, including Dr. Barbara Andersen’s Stress and Immunity Cancer Projects Lab and she worked with Dr. Cynthia Gerhardt at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Abby completed an undergraduate research thesis with Dr. Barbara Andersen looking at risk factors for depression and anxiety in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

Under the direction of Dr. Lindsey Cohen and Dr. Lisa Armistead, Abby is helping to integrate their two research areas. She is interested in the connection between physical and mental health in chronic illness populations.
