This semester the Exchange experimented with a new format for learning technology called “Learn with the Exchange.” The idea for “Learn with the Exchange” is to choose a topic that we at the Exchange basically know nothing about but would like to and invite everyone from the Georgia State University community to join us so that we can learn together. This semester we met weekly for a Code Camp where we learned JavaScript primarily through the online tutorials provided by Codeacademy. But we also learned basic coding principles through an iPad app called CargoBot and modified existing JavaScript by playing with JavaScript amCharts.
Sadly Code Camp has come to a close this semester *sigh*. However, we are looking forward to another semester of learning and experimenting with you. We aren’t yet ready to release our next “Learn with the Exchange” topic, but stay-tuned. We enjoyed the collegial atmosphere and collaboration of this semester’s Code Camp, and we hope to see you again next semester.
