Materials: Soap and Air Dry Clay
This piece was meant to portray the abstract idea of inside/outside. When making this project I couldn’t help but think of opposites. I focused on the ideas of contrasting elements like fire and water, earth and air as well as ideas of modern art versus antique or ancient art. I took inspiration from Celtic spirals and curves as well as depictions of art from films and TV, like Beetlejuice’s character Delia Deetz.
