How can we help society to understand gender equality?

About

            Gender stereotypes

The website is designed to talk about gender roles in our society means how we’re expected to act, speak, dress, and behave ourselves based on our gender.  The purpose of this website is to help bring awareness to the community and educate them about gender equality.

How to use this resource

The resource that I use is a video on how differently boys and girls are treated. I asked some of my friends a question, and they talked about how they were treated in their family and the difference between them and their siblings. the question that I asked them is ” do you think there is gender discrimination or you think people are changing?”. The first link is my video and  I also added a youtube video that talks about gender.

Why people should care about stereotypes?

Stereotypes about gender can cause unequally and unfair treatment because of a person’s gender. That makes people have no motivation; therefore, they won’t have good performance at any level in their life. As a threat, other women faced stereotypes. For example, which claims that women are bad drivers. This puts even more stress on how they feel, not only being around others who identify with them but also being around people they trust.
