blog 6- Sources for Research

It is important to use outside sources for some writing because we might not get enough information on our own. To understand better about the topic, we have to research it to gain more detailed knowledge and demonstrate that the data we use on the paper have trustworthiness, so we will need to use outside sources. For example, when I already have a thesis statement and topic sentences in an essay, searching sources help me get more interesting pieces of information to support details for each topic sentence. I can also ask people about their thought based on how they are using the sources to develop the community. A primary source is from people who directly connect to the topics. the primary source may come from creating its own work and the original document. It can be an interview, images, videos, etc. A secondary source is to analyze, interpret, and draw conclusions to the primary source. A popular source is often used to get ideas for a topic or background information. Some examples of Popular Sources are journals, advertisements, magazines, newspapers, etc.  A scholarly source is used in-depth research that can have specific vocabularies and broad extensions to the source, it is important it tells the readers the exact content of the paper so they can understand clearly.
