I – “Compassion Poster – Semicolon Project”

In this assignment, we were encouraged to dig deep within ourselves and ask what we really think is essential to being compassionate human beings. For my posters, I decided to focus on suicide awareness and Project Semicolon.

I wanted these posters to stand out and grab people’s attention as they walk by. The contrast of smiling faces with serious issues labeled where their eyes should be is part of the message I want to convey. I also wanted to bring attention to mental health struggles among communities of people of color.
