This situation is very disturbing and this video tells a lot about it. The outbreak of the shooting of so many unarmed black men and in some cases children has left me speechless. These situations make me feel so helpless and makes me afraid to go out. I know that in this case, Eric Harris was doing something illegal but there too many cases of innocent people being assaulted and killed.

What bothers me the most is that whether or not there  are further consequences, the policemen don’t see a problem with what has happened. For one of the officers to compare what was done to a medical mistake is crazy. The assault that is also committed is insane. Seeing the officer put all of his weight on the victim’s head bothered me. And they tried to say that volunteer that shot him was the victim!

Things could have been different had the officers responded to the situation as if it were a mistake. When the officer responded “F–k your breath” to the man, it was an indication that he could care less about what happened to him.

What’s happening is like masked form another attempt to get rid of minorities. So many cops are doing the same thing to the same types of people. Most of them are not being punished for the actions which suggests to me that it is another effort to try to decrease the number of African-Americans. Especially males.
