My dream job is to be a technical writer, and one thing I have learned from the dream job research post was that knowing html is a useful skill for technical writers. So last week I bought a copy of Jon Duckett’s HTML and CSS which teaches beginners (such as myself) how to code these two languages in order to design and build websites. The book got a lot of good reviews, was pretty cheap (20 dollars),and is designed visually and information-wise very well. So for the next couple of weeks I plan on posting things I learn and exercises I do from each chapter to document my progress.
