Video games are becoming more of a relevant matter in the daily lives across first-countries with the gaming industry booming as technology slowly progress. Video games not only mediates as a new category of entertainment, but also serve as an opportunity for people to make a career out of it, earning up to hundred of thousands of dollars. These people, Major League Gamers(MLG) or pros like most people would refer them as, compete against each other in miniscule competitions or as big as world-wide tournaments. This sensation gave forth the emergence of eSports, a multitude of official video game tournaments which help legitimize gaming as a sporting activity. However, compared to the traditional sport leagues (NFL, FIFA, UFC), eSports is propagating as a more popular league above all else. Whether it be participating in eSports as an ‘athlete’ or spectating these competitions as a form of entertainment, eSports is a phenomenon that will eclipse over other sporting leagues in the near future.
