The social justice topic that I’m interested in is refugee because there are a lot of myths and false accusations towards refugees. The main argument would be that foreigners are taking over American jobs, which is a myth. I have found that not only do refugees take the jobs Americans do not want to do, but they also generate more jobs for Americans and everyone else. I can find many things by researching to support my arguments. I can find statistics and data that proves how much percentage incarcerated in foreigners. I can research about the big jobs foreigners and refugees have created that also that most people in the world use daily. I can find evidence that will prove the myths there are about foreigners and refugees. There will be many counter-arguments about refugees again, such as foreigners taking over American jobs, foreigners not paying taxes, and foreigners are increasing the crime rate, although I can find supportive evidence to prove all of these counter-arguments. It is sad that most Americans believe these myths. Even though they might seem like they are true, it is not right to make assumptions without being able to prove those claims are true. I should find polls and surveys that ask people about foreigners, and their responses. I believe that I can find most people agreeing that foreigners and dragging America down. I need to do more research for my research topic, and find good articles and evidence to support the arguments. Proving statistics and datas will be extremely helpful supporting the claims I will be making. Therefore, I need further research and gather more information about the argument that I will be arguing about. These are just the few things I need to collect and project. Doing so will make my paper an effective paper.
