The Hero Project was probably my top favorite because working with the watercolor and having the opportunity to be able to explore procreate and photoshop was fun and relaxing. This project helped me notice my love and allowed old ideas to resurface. This project consisted of us creating own hero but that was not our only task. In fact, we had to paint the landscapes with one of the three being two dimensional and the other one being one dimensional. The landscapes were so fun to do because the watercolor brought a new sense of how I was doing it. In addition, my teacher brought my attention to a book by Jon J Muth entitled Zen Shorts. The way he creates the trees in his books is so pleasing to the eyes.
From this inspiration, I began to experiment more with being bold and mixing different colors of palette paper. My landscapes mainly involved nature scenes. In addition, many of my heroes powers ranged from telepathy to communication with mystical beings and creatures. This project also taught me how to edit an object into an existing painting using photoshop. I loved this project because it allowed me to explore a different way of doing things from graphically to painting as well as exploring different colors and brush types to use.
