I have always enjoyed creative endeavors ever since I was a kid. Both art and poetry were my main outlets when it came to express myself. When I was experiencing a stressful time or even a time filled with joy, I would still express myself through art. And this is just one of the very things that set me out from the rest.
In art and writing, I never enjoyed being told how I should write or what I should paint. Like the people of the Romanticism period, I would often go against the grain and pursue expression that was generated within or even allowing my imagination to run free. Although many of my teachers in the past gave me guidelines to follow, I still tried to implement my own sense of expression into the piece. I believe we all have that expression that can only be generated from us because the frequency matches up to our very own such as Meraki. Unlike other artists, my style and how I do things artistically is a reflection or chunk of me that only I can give off because it’s of me. Like other artists, this is one of the very things that set us out from the rest.
