Digital Design: Rhetoric and Writing for the Internet. Provides knowledge of the theory and practice of writing for electronically delivered documents. Focuses on information architecture, modular design principles, usability testing, visual rhetoric, and hypertext theory.

My Spin

English 8123, Digital Media Productions, is the companion course to English 8121, Electronic Writing and Publishing. While 8121 focuses more on the theorectical side of things, 8123 emphasizes hands-on practice in the practical application of digital design principles. So, for this class, students will learn to deisgn web-delievered content through hardcore coding, using the latest web design technologies. Such design will be informed by sound rhetorical principles.
