BLOG POST #1

Hi, my name is Tony, and I’m here to tell you all about my mysterious life. Well, my life isn’t as weird or adventurous as I would like it to be; I believe I’m still exploring different pathways to success. I wonder how many people can relate to me as I write about this Topic. Do most teens my age know what they want to be in life or what they want to achieve at such a young age? I have a lot of interests and different majors that I want to explore. I’ve always been an entrepreneur most of my life, whether I was selling my clothing brand to classmates in middle school or being a digital entrepreneur in high school selling products online. I think that’s why I just settled with my business major instead of exploring my other options. I really don’t know what else would be a good fit for me, my hobbies most of my life have been sports, playing video games, exercising, and I love traveling. I just don’t see any of those hobbies making a career out of. I can say that I’m a very artistic person and I LOVE music, movies/tv shows, and sports!!! My favorite tv show to binge watch would definitely be Game of Thrones, and there’s nothing better than lying down watching GOT and watching Football all day. As much as I would love to be able to do my favorite things all day, I soon have to face reality and realize I have real-life responsibilities I need to focus on.

I wonder whether most people feel like life is a continuous cycle of attempting to better yourself every day. I wake up every day and learn something new, whether it’s a mistake I made or an experience I had that I could have done something different or better in. As I think about my life and career, I think about making the best decisions possible. If I only have one life, I want to live it to the best potential possible. I honestly don’t know what or who I want to be in the future; I just know I want to care for the people who took care of me. I also want to put the people I surround myself with in a better situation and environment. This all starts with me figuring out what I want to achieve in college. I plan to finish this semester at Perimeter with a 3.0 or higher and then transfer downtown, where I’ll start exploring different majors to figure out what’s best for me. I really want to challenge myself by trying new things; I would love to try new hobbies or try something that I’ve never done before, I could be an outstanding digital designer, but I would never know unless I get out of my comfort zone to try it. I believe everyone should do more exploring career paths instead of settling down with things there just “good at.”
