A Topic that is socially relevant is the fight for equality in America because the purpose is to demand for change not only for blacks but for all races, gender, sexuality, and education reforms. Most of the time people in the world they tend to judge and talk down to others who may not believe in the same things. For example, sexuality people are often afraid of embracing who they are whether its gay, lesbian, transgender, and etc. because they will get judged and receive backlash for it which is not the right thing to do because most people in the world wouldn’t like it if their judged for every move they make. Another example is how blacks are getting treated unfairly and harassed on a daily basic.
My first scholarly source Equality: The New Legal Framework by contributes to the topic because it focuses on what equality is and the impact it has on our community. As well as it explains different measures people took to gaining equality then compared to now and it shows the consistent backlash those got just for supporting the movement for equality in the world. My second scholarly source Equality and Diversity by: Ogden, Charlie contributes to the topic because it shows the importance of treating people equally so people can feel accepted . In addition to that it also, it focuses on other ways people in our society right now can affect change in a positive way.
My third scholarly source Social Equality: On what it means to be equals contributes to the topic because it explains the steps it takes for equality to come to light through justice. In addition to that my source states that” the failure to treat a person as an equal is an injustice” which also connects with my topic because it shows the true value of equality. My fourth verifiable source Educational Equality by: Harry Brighouse, Kenneth R. Howe, James Tooley, Graham Haydon contributes to the topic because it provides why education equality is important today because it helps students get the same opportunities as others.
I ensure to use perfect MLA page formatting, proper MLA citations, correct grammar/usage, concise style, and effective reading comprehension as the prompt requires, including any tools, readings, or resources I’m using or plan on using to meet these expectations when I’m informing the audience or reader of what my topic is talking about and I will properly makes it easier for readers to navigate and comprehend a text through familiar cues. I will especially use proper MLA citations well so I can use that to support my topic strongly.
Finally, The relevant struggles I’m experiencing with Major Assignment 3, such as when I am thinking about the 1,000 word-length minimum as too short or too long, whether or not I feel I can easily make word length, within the essay was I had doubt that I can actually doing the assignment because it was 1000 word length and I continued to struggle structuring my essay, as well as create a topic to write about my easy was going to be about. Lastly I had trouble finding my sources and then putting them in my essay but at the end I figured it out.

In my research it states that a Confirmation bias is basically information that backs up your existing beliefs. The research sources reflects my topic about being Pro vaccine or against it because it helps explains how people make decision due to cognitive bias and errors. Framing effect is a big part of everyday life because there is an arguement to be made that people are having about getting the vaccine and not getting the vaccine due to the positives and negatives effects it has on people who gets it or not . Many people in the world believe getting the vaccine is the only smart way of not contracting covid. These four annotations that I plan to use in my infographic explains how Cognitive errors and biases 1) Always look at the opposite point of view because there is a lot of negatives in getting the vaccine. 2) Most people who gets the vaccine and still ends up with covid normally blames other people when it goes wrong. 3) Only paying attention to information that confirms your beliefs when it comes down to. 4) People make their decision based on whether or not they should get vaccinated based off pure pressure and emotion of what their hearing about the vaccine. Many people in the world believe getting the vaccine is the only smart way of not contracting covid .
My first biases “Always look at the opposite point of view because there is a lot of negative in getting the vaccine” relates to my topic because my research source states that their is a lot of side effects that comes with getting vaccinated that people need to be aware of. For example, even if you end up getting the vaccine you can still end up with Covid but you will have less chance at dying due to you receiving the vaccine. Another side effect in getting vaccinated are Difficulty breathing, swelling of your face and lungs, rapid heartbeats, a bad rash all over your body, dizziness and weakness, and allergic reaction are all experiences you can have in getting vaccinated and it can also impact you on a daily basic. My second biases “Most people who gets the vaccine and still ends up with covid normally blames other people like the doctors when it goes wrong. “relates to my topic because even when your vaccinated you can still contract symptoms by going out without a mask, by not limiting your time out, not washing your when you touch things, especially not being socially distant all of those things allows you to still contract covid while still being vaccinated. Then when that happens normally people tend to assume its because of the vaccine that the doctors gave them to still end up getting it
My Third biases “People only paying attention to information that confirms your beliefs when it comes down to whether or not you get the vaccine.” relates to my topic because for instance those who have a belief in getting the vaccine is good for you often gets it because of either what they read about the vaccine or the positive effects they hear about the vaccine and when people have a belief in not getting the vaccine will most likely not get it as well but it always depends on what you hear or experience. My Fourth biases “People make their decision based on whether or not they should get vaccinated based off pure pressure and emotion of what their hearing about the vaccine “relates to my topic because people who are normally not vaccinated gets pure pressed with emotion to take the vaccine by either what they hear on the news or by their peers that persuades them to take it without actually believing in your own beliefs.

My source reflects my other argument and topic because their are also people who believe BLM is a bad thing in our community because it makes others feel like it only focuses on only blacks. Those others beliefs are really based off emotion and the attention that blacks get across the world with this movement affects people who are against BLM.
Lastly, I want to express the the level of ease and/or difficulty I’m experiencing with compressing the source’s context into the precise three-sentence annotation required for each source. It was really difficult at first compressing the source’s context into the precise three-sentence annotation because I didn’t know what source context i was going to use and get it from but it became easy when I had found my sources because it help me have something to reflect back on when I’m finishing my 3 sentence annotation. At the end I’m happy that I went through those hurdles of gaining sources because I would have a trouble explaining things in detail
