The purpose of this first project was to help me become more aware of the power of line. I learned about the physical properties and characteristics of lines and what these suggest to viewers, from the energy and tension of diagonals, to the flowing rhythm of curves.  Working with nonrepresentational pieces allowed me to focus more on these elements and enjoy playing around with them.
