Family, friends attend funeral for 3-year-old killed in Easter drive-by shooting

Since this reflection is a free-write reflection, I have decided to share the story of my friend’s nephew, T’Rhigi Diggs, who was killed on Easter night just three days after his birthday. His mom, Rashonda Craig, was driving on Bouldercrest Road around 11:30 at night when a gray dodge charger approached her pulling out what she thought was a paintball gun and opened fire. Craig realized that her baby was unresponsive, so she pulled over instantly and called the police. Little T’Rhigi was taken to the nearest hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was just three, like who would want to do that. He barely even lived his life. But then it clicked we live in a crazy world and that people would do anything without thinking about who it will affect. People don’t care! We live in a world where people have this dog-to-dog mentality.
